Recent Projects
Project: Chicago Transit Status
This Web site provides a simple, consolidated, way to see the status of
the local rapid transit system, on a line-by-line basis, including rider
alerts and notices about unexpected diversions.

Project: ChicagoTrainTour.com
This Web site promoted and gave information about a history tour put together
by Tony Coppoletta. Another tour is likely to happen this spring.

Site: Spin Music Video Database
This Chicago nightclub needed a way to catalog its music video collection
of thousands of music videos, where multiple people could work simultaneously
on the database, and print various versions of it, both for internal use and
for the public to request videos. This solution has been in use all year
and continues to make things easier for the club.

Site: SaveChicagoTransit.com
This site was set up to better inform the public about an impending
transit funding crises in 2004/2005. The site still prevents
information, but won't get a major update until the next time there is a
crisis at hand.

Concept: Chicago Transit Experience
This is a design idea for a site that would catalog the city from the
perspective of its rapid transit system, covering neighborhoods, transit
history, and architectural history of the stations and areas that surround
them.

Design: After Hours Press
This Tony Coppoletta design was version 2.0 for this Chicago
journal of writing and art.

Cassona.com
Web site for a furniture store. Staff at
Elevated Consulting, Inc. were responsible for completely overhauling this Web
site, reinventing the site navigation, and updating hundreds of static product
pages. Sales at the store off the Web have indeed elevated, and the site
has more than paid for itself.

CoreComm Internet (web dev/design/content writing)
The Web site for Internet service customers of
CoreComm provides service, promotional, and support information. Current staff
at Elevated Consulting, Inc. were fully responsible for Web development,
content writing, layout, navigational structure, and maintenance, and played a
major role in the design process for the template governing CoreComm Web
sites.
Note that much of the content has been reorganized since
Tony Coppoletta's departure from CoreComm.

Some content work:
MSN Update (content writing)
While working for MSN, Tony Coppoletta hosted chats
and wrote content for a few columns. I was one of two columnists on MSN
Update, along with Kim Stewart, whose wide-ranging experience including being
a reporter for the L.A. Times.

Signal (my member community-focused column)
Net Savvy (a column I launched on Update, a fun
column on making the best of the Internet)
Member Council (auditorium-style chats between MSN
members and people behind-the-scenes)
Letters (responding to member letters)
Try This (tips for beginners)

CoreComm ebill Tutorial (content writing)
This tutorial helped CoreComm customers who view
their telephone bills online use the ebill tool. My function in
the production process for this tool included both content writing and layout.
Tutorial no longer online (was originally posted in 2000).
