What we do:
The services we provide fall into basically four categories:
Servers
Servers are the computers on your network that provide services to other computers and devices. They bring everything together. We most commonly work with the following server types:
- Domain controllers / network authentication
- E-mail services (standalone and Exchange)
- Print servers
- File sharing

- Web servers
- FTP servers
- Routing & remote access
- Virtual private networking (VPN) access
- Internet security & acceleration (proxy & firewall)
We proudly fully support ever Windows-based server type produced in the last ten years, including Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003, and their Small Business Server counterparts (which typically include Exchange,
ISA Server, and Microsoft SQL Server).
Personal Computers/Workstations
Your personal computer is undoubtedly where you get most of the work done. Whether it's stationary or portable, we probably spend most of our time assisting end-users with issues they run into on their personal computers.
We provide extensive support for the operation and maintenance of the most common applications, and provide limited support for just about every imaginable piece of software out there.
We most often find ourselves working with:
- Windows file sharing
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Remote Desktop (remote access to your full computer)
- Internet Explorer (or other Web browsers)
- Various printers
- Any and all device drivers

Internet services
We also fully support your need to obtain Internet access, communicate with your service provider, configure e-mail accounts, and more. We can troubleshoot most problems you may have with Internet access.

Regular maintenance & tracking
All of our IT clients get access to Elevated Consulting, Inc.'s Client Tools system.
The necessary maintenance of computers in your office is something we spend a lot of time maintaining. Regular maintenance, when provided by us includes checking the following:
- Windows Update (critical and optional updates)
- Office Update (service packs, patches, and more)
- Virus definitions updates
- Drive fragmentation (can reduce performance)
- Available disk space
The Client Tools system allows for full tracking of users, usernames, passwords, computers in your office, printers, special hardware attached to computers, specific information regarding your Internet services and third-party
technology providers, and more.
But, best of all, Client Tools allows for tracking of when a computer was last maintained, and when the virus subscriptions expire. Administrative staff in your access can see on the start page of Client Tools exactly how many
computers could use maintenance, and which ones have virus update subscriptions that are soon-to-expire.
We see this information as well and can notify you when these things are needed, and take care of all these tasks for you, with professional thoroughness, on request or based on a regular schedule you choose.
